Alec Anello
Director of Investor Relations
Alec grew up in NYC and began cultivating and extracting cannabis in 2004. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Political Science from SUNY Purchase and will be graduating from University of Miami’s Herbert Business School with his Master of Science in Finance degree in April 2023.
Alec’s work in the cannabis industry is extensive. He opened the first Columbia Care/Cannabist location in Miami and became their Product Knowledge Coordinator, specializing in team training and education, SOP optimization, and development of new products and technologies.
He has consulted for a number of nationwide product companies, including Cann, Heavy Hitters, & Wyld. Recently, he advised Snoop Dogg’s investment firm, Casa Verde Capital, in their acquisition of Leaflogix, the largest ERP software company in the cannabis industry. Currently, he has a contract to update ACS Laboratory’s website, the East Coast’s largest DEA-certified analytical testing lab.
In addition, he has appeared in the Miami New Times, MegaTV’s Cannalife, and at the Cannadelic conference.
Michelle San Miguel
Vice President & Senior Cannabis Consultant
Michelle has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Florida International University. Born and raised in Miami, FL Michelle is a first-generation Cuban - American. She is currently the Southeast Regional Outreach Manager for MÜV by Verano with 4+ years of experience in the Cannabis Industry specializing in customer service, physician engagement, operational logistics development, and community outreach.
Following personal sports injuries and the Alzheimer’s diagnosis of her grandparents, cannabis sparked her interest when she found the benefits of its use more favorable over pharmaceutical medication. She strides to break taboos within the Hispanic community by engaging with local organizations throughout the state and educating on the benefits of cannabis.
Within the last 5 years Michelle has participated in numerous events throughout the state of Florida and has spoken on topics such as Women in the Cannabis industry, Marketing & Strategies and the Future of Cannabis.
In her spare time she enjoys traveling, skydiving, and spending time with her friends and 9yr old blue nose pit bull.
Bryan Scott
Vice President & Senior Hemp Consultant
Bryan Scott is the former President and Co-founder of HGE LLC, a vertically-integrated cannabis company founded in Colorado in 2017. With operations both there and Pennsylvania, the company was among the first private contractors to work directly with the state department of agriculture to develop and pilot a certified cannabis seed certification and breeding program in 2019.
With over 7,500 sqft of controlled indoor space, and access to 120 acres of outdoor grow, under Bryan’s control, the company developed a seed-to-sale supply chain, and produced a variety of products including Seed, Fiber, Smoke, Edibles, Topicals, and other Health and Wellness., HGE products were sold in over 500 retail locations. Bryan also has experience with farm management protocols, GMP, USDA, FDA, and other state /local compliance.
In the cannabis industry, Bryan is best known for introducing cutting edge products such as the pain-relief wrap; and his unique approach to branding, marketing, and packaging.
